COVID-19 Recovery Grants/Funding Opportunities
The Legacy Foundation has been proud to support our not-for-profit organizations with COVID-19 Emergent Grants totaling nearly $500,000 over the last year. Now, in the spirit of optimism and hope, we are transitioning from Emergent to Recovery Grants. Recovery Grants will generally be up to $5000 and are intended to assist not for profit organizations to get back on track and move forward after the very challenging year of 2020.

Individual & Small Business Assistance
The CARES Act is phase-three of the economic relief provided in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This bill promises to make a significant impact on the economy by providing loan forgiveness, supporting small businesses and enhancing unemployment benefits. The attached CARES Act overview contains highlights of key tax provision in this bill, along with other provisions aimed at proving economic relief to individuals and businesses.
USDA and its Federal partners have programs that can be used to provide immediate and long-term assistance to rural communities affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. These programs can support recovery efforts for rural residents, businesses and communities through:
• technical, training, and management assistance;
• financial assistance; and
• state and local assistance.
COVID-19 HOUSING & EVICTION
CARES Act Mortgage and Utility Assistance Program – Attention residents of Cochise, Graham, and Greenlee Counties! Have you been impacted by Corona Virus? Southeastern Arizona Governments Organization (SEAGO) has recently been funded with CARES Act dollars allocated by the State of Arizona Housing Department for the purpose of obtaining mortgage and utility assistance for those homeowners suffering economic hardship caused by the pandemic. Those who believe they may be eligible for this assistance can fill out the pre-qualification checklist to get started. After completing the pre-screening you will be sent the application and provide the documentation needed for assistance. Both mortgage and utility assistance is on the same application. These funds will be on a first-come, first-served basis and all requirements must be met.https://www.seago.org/cares
COVID-19 Hotline 2-1-1
The Hotline will operate from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm each day of the week and can be reached by dialing 2-1-1 while an individual is located in Arizona. Information available in both English and Spanish.
