The Legacy Foundation Serves Lunch at the Salvation Army

The Legacy Foundation Board of Directors, former Directors, and staff were full of blarney and smiles serving corned beef and cabbage, brownies and mint chip ice cream to the friends who came for lunch at the Salvation Army.

In 2015, the Legacy Foundation provided a $300,000 grant towards the construction of the new Salvation Army Community Center. Now, in a dining room dedicated to the Legacy Foundation, hot lunches are served Monday through Friday to those in need.

To demonstrate that the Legacy Foundation is more than grants or a plaque above the dining room door, Board members and their wives, former Board members, and staff gave their time, their smiles, and their genuine interest to those they served.

Thank you, Captain Souza, for allowing us to invade your space for a little while. It was a pleasure and an honor to be of service to the community.
