We partner with some of the best nonprofit professionals in Southern Arizona to provide educational workshops focused on the in’s and out’s of running a nonprofit. These workshops provide a great opportunity to network with other area nonprofit organizations. They are typically held the third Friday of the month at 9:00 AM, but dates and time my vary.

Workshop Announcement

The Old and the New: In-Person & Online Virtual Fundraising

July 18, 2025, 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM via ZOOM

In this two-hour workshop, participants will learn a variety of fundraising options – in-person, written proposals, and virtual/online.

We will discuss traditional approaches to raising money in-person and virtually, how this has developed and changed post-Covid, and how you can utilize these platforms to formulate your funding requests to individuals, corporations, foundations, and government organizations. Additionally, we will discuss how to create your toolkit of important documents to readily have on hand to make sure you can quickly respond to individual donors and online funding applications.

Presenter: Ann Morrison

Ms. Morrison owns AMorrison Consulting LLC, which supports and trains nonprofit boards and organizations across the United States. AMorrison Consulting offers services to nonprofit organizations, including fundraising, grant writing, board training sessions and retreats, and the establishment of nonprofits. She has extensive experience navigating the grant processes of local, state, and federal governments.
